Drop My Part is designed for musicians, not audio engineers. Start with these four steps.
Prepare parts
Choose the separation option and let the app prepare the practice parts on your device. Longer songs and older devices may take more time.
Mute your part
Open the Practice Player and turn off the part you play. Use the short count at the beginning only when you start the song from the top.
Map the song
Set section in and out points on the waveform, build the set list, and use Rehearsal Mode to move through practice without hunting for information.

Will it work with Apple Music or iTunes purchases?
Drop My Part works with DRM-free audio files you own or have permission to use. It does not import, record, bypass, or alter protected Apple Music or iTunes content.
Does it send my music or band information to MediaPro?
No. Your music, generated parts, song details, and Band Hub information stay on your device unless you deliberately share a package with someone.
How do I share a song with my band?
Create a Practice Pack or Band Hub package, then choose your recipient in Apple’s share sheet. The other musician needs Drop My Part to open it.
Can I remove a song and its files?
Yes. Delete the song in the Songs area. The app removes the imported file, generated parts, and its set-list references from that device.

Privacy Policy
Effective August 30, 2026. MediaPro Productions, a DBA of Clayton Johnson, publishes Drop My Part. The app stores the music files you import, generated practice parts, song sections, practice sets, Band Hub information, and notes locally on your device. MediaPro Productions does not provide an account system, receive this information, sell it, or use advertising or analytics in the app.
Contacts access is requested only when you choose to import or save a band member with Apple Contacts. Calendar access is requested only when you choose to review and add a band event to Apple Calendar. When you choose to share a Practice Pack or Band Hub package, you choose the recipient and delivery method through Apple’s share sheet. You may not copy, modify, resell, rent, lease, or reverse engineer the app except where law permits. You are responsible for the music and materials you import, share, or use, and for having the rights to use them.
Drop My Part supports practice with DRM-free audio files. It does not import, record, bypass, or alter protected Apple Music or iTunes content. The app is provided to help musicians rehearse; verify musical arrangements and shared information before a rehearsal or performance. Purchases and eligible refunds are administered by Apple. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
